SERVICES FOR 12TH GRADERSOne person.
Every part of the application.
The Senior Application Intensive is a comprehensive, 1:1 engagement covering everything from your college list to your final submitted essay — managed entirely by Matt from June before senior year through your last submission.
Senior Year Intensive: Phase 2 of the Selective Admissions Blueprint
For families joining in senior year, this is the full application engagement — strategy, essays, list, and everything in between. For families who started earlier in the Selective Admissions Blueprint, this is Phase 2: the moment the years of positioning come together into a submission.
Either way, it's the same program. The same person. The same level of attention.
What’s Included
Everything below is included in the Senior Application Intensive. There are no tiers, no upsells, no basic versus premium. One engagement, fully delivered.
01 — College List Strategy
The schools on your list determine the outcome as much as the application itself. We build a balanced, honest list tailored to your student's academic profile, major interests, and financial considerations — reaches, targets, and likelies that actually make sense for who they are and where they want to go.
This isn't a list of dream schools plus a few safeties thrown in as an afterthought. Every school on it is one your student would genuinely be excited to attend.
Scope: up to 18 schools. Additional applications beyond 18 up to 25 are available as a separate add-on.
02 — Personal Statement
The personal statement is the one place in the entire application where your student gets to speak directly to an admissions officer as a person — not a transcript, not a list of activities, but a human being with a story worth reading.
We work through the full process: brainstorming, finding the right story, structuring it strategically, and refining through as many drafts as it takes. The goal isn't a polished essay. It's an authentic one that happens to be polished.
Your student's voice stays intact. Always.
03 — Supplemental Essays & Activity List
The personal statement gets the most attention from families, but it's often the supplementals and activity list that move the needle at highly selective schools. Each supplemental is tailored to the specific institution — demonstrating genuine fit rather than recycled copy. The activity list is treated as a positioning document, not a chronological record.
Every school on your list. Unlimited revisions. Done.
04 — Application Management
Senior year has a lot of moving parts — deadlines, requirements, school-specific quirks, Early Decision and Early Action strategy, financial aid considerations, and the constant question of what to prioritize next. Matt tracks all of it.
The College Essay Tracker — a purpose-built organizational system set up in your first session — keeps your entire application in one place: your college list, every school's essay prompts, your deadlines, and your drafts. Students consistently describe it as one of the most useful parts of the process. One recent student noted their working document ran over 200 pages across drafts, revisions, and planning materials — all organized so nothing felt overwhelming.
05 — Charisma Crafting
Some colleges interview. Some specific programs require a video submission now. And increasingly, being able to speak clearly and confidently about who you are and what you want is a skill that matters well beyond the application.
Drawing from professional experience coaching communication at the highest levels of the creative and technology industries, we prepare your student for every interview they'll face — with mock sessions, honest feedback, and techniques that build genuine confidence rather than scripted answers.
06 — Scholarship & Financial Aid Guidance
For families where financial outcomes matter alongside admissions outcomes, we incorporate scholarship strategy and financial aid literacy into the college list process — identifying schools where your student's profile positions them well for merit aid, and teaching families how to evaluate and compare award letters.
This isn't a separate service — it's woven into College Curation for every family where it's relevant.
Resume Ready
For students applying to competitive summer programs or submitting materials that require a resume, we provide professional résumé development as part of the engagement — teaching students how to present their experiences in a format that impresses both admissions committees and future employers.
The CollegeBound Blueprint
Every senior receives a personalized workbook developed specifically for them — not a generic template, but a collaborative document built around their experiences, their stories, and their specific schools. It functions as the strategic foundation for every essay we work on together.
Staying connected
College is the beginning, not the end. Matt stays informally connected with students after admission — available for questions about picking classes, navigating internships, or thinking through what comes next. It's not a formal service. It's just how this works.

FAQ
-
Junior spring is actually one of the most strategic times to start — early enough to shape the college list and narrative before senior year, late enough that the academic record is largely established and we know exactly what we're working with. For seniors starting in summer or fall, the answer is still no — the Senior Application Intensive is designed to be a complete engagement that delivers results from wherever we start. The earlier in senior year the better, but we've never had a student who ran out of time by starting late.

For a lot of firms, honestly yes — and that's reflected in how they're priced. CollegeBound is different. The essays are one component of a comprehensive strategy that covers your college list, your application positioning, your interview preparation, and how every piece of the application works together to tell a coherent story. The essay matters. The strategy behind it matters more.

School counselors are doing genuinely important work — often for hundreds of students at a time. What they can't provide is the sustained, personalized strategic attention that a competitive application requires. The average school counselor manages 400+ students. CollegeBound works with a small number of seniors per year, by design. Those are different services serving different needs — and for families aiming at selective schools, both matter.
